Is it just me or is it hard to read between the lines? I’m not a details person at all. I’m not always tuned into my surroundings. There are other things I am good at: idea generation, problem-solving, cracking goofy jokes but I cannot read between the lines at all.
So I have a little request for you. If you are going to be sarcastic: please don’t. I know it makes me sound stupid and I have tried to understand sarcasm but the only brand of sarcasm I understand is Chandler Bing’s and Howard Wolowitz’s. If you are going to use rhetorics or say something but mean something else, I am not going to get it.
You might be thinking, why bother since she’s just clearly incompetent. But imagine being in my position and not understanding what people say because what they mean is something completely different. Can you imagine how incapable it makes me feel? It makes me feel like Michael Scott has taken over my brain. Anyway, isn’t it better to be straightforward anyway? Isn’t it better to make your intentions clear?
So guys just be straightforward with me, or I’ll misinterpret what you’re saying and it’ll become something that it really shouldn’t. And stop expecting me to just know something just because you know it. Everyone learns at different paces. And the only thing I should be expected to know are the things that are black and white.
