“Life’s most urgent and persistent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?'”
-Martin Luther King
Oftentimes in life I struggle to find meaning in most anything. Hardly exploring or unable to find meaning underneath the surface and when I do it’s a lonely discovery. So, at times I will just immerse myself in the moment because what else can I do? Not to discount those moments because they are a breath of much needed fresh air and I seek them half the time rather recklessly but, once in a while, healthily.
But when I remember this quote, this message, it centers me and reminds me that life can have so much meaning. Serving humanity and living righteously grants purpose to my life and it should be the core of our existence before anything else.
I know this isn’t a book quote… but it’s the best quote ever! And no pressure to do the tag, if you want to then go for it!
